October Event Map

Bring the whole family and come on down to the “Dazzling New Jackson Street” celebration to commemorate the new sculptures in the art garden and new bus shelters on Jackson St. The event is scheduled from 6:00 to 6:30 pm at City Hall.
It’s a great opportunity to experience first hand the beautiful art garden and new transit center in downtown Milwaukie.

Each month some absolutely amazing artists have been joining us in front of Key bank to display and sell their own artwork.  We are providing you their website information so you can get a sneak peek at some of the artists that will be joining us this month, just copy and paste into your web browser to view their information.  We still have a bit of space left for the November and December events.  If you would like to join us please email us at milwaukiefirstfriday@gmail.com for all of the details.  Spaces are only $25.00.

As part of that the Milwaukie Poetry Series is sponsoring a Poetry Reading.

The Portland Waldorf School’s Nancy Pierce will be joining us again.  We are absolutely delighted !!!  The only thing that would make it better would be you.  We would love to have you join us for our second annual pumpkin decorating party in the driveway at City Hall.  We will be providing the pumpkins and the paint all you need to do is provide the creativity.  Nancy will be on hand to lend her assistance and help nurture your creativity.   What will you create?  We can hardly wait to see !!
